the Elena Ferrara Couture design label was established in 2016, after over 10 years of working within the bridal industry and at the start of 2018 we took up residence in the one of the cutest littlest shops in the heart of York.

and ever since then, this cute little shop has been the hub of beautiful bridal gowns, for brides, all across the country, and even further afield. we have seen many changes in bridal fashion and we understand that our lovely brides are more adventurous than ever before, with a dream of having a dress that reflects their own personality. with our cool designs, with amazing fabrics, we now have a modern take on our designs and our bespoke service is the perfect way to help you express your style through your wedding dress.

so, whether you know exactly what you want, or don't have a clue, we are able to help guide you through the whole design process from designs, to toiles, to finishing touches, creating the dress of your dreams, and, trust us, it is not complicated either!

during the initial consultation appointment, we take the time to listen to your ideas and discuss all the details which affect the overall look: styles, fabrics, colours, and embellishments - remember you can be as simple or as adventurous as you would like! we love to see  your ideas so don't forget to bring along your wedding files/images, inspirational scraps of fabric and your Pinterest boards.

as this is a fully handmade to measure service; we require a couple of consultations and fitting appointments, including toile fittings, where we test the style and fit of the dress! so please be prepared for a couple of extra appointments as we need these to make sure that your dress is perfect for you! the general lead time for a bespoke dress is between six months to one year, but we can often accommodate shorter lead times if required.
